17．情欲にかられた時

When you get carried away with lust
①マタイ 5：27～28
あなたがたも聞いているとおり、「姦淫するな」と命じられている。しかし、私は言っておく。情欲を抱いて女を見る者は誰でも、すでに心の中で姦淫を犯したのである。

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

②Ⅰコリント 6：18
淫（みだ）らな行いを避けなさい。人が犯す罪はすべて体の外にあります。しかし、淫らな行いをする者は、自分の体に対して罪を犯すのです。

18．疲れた時

When you're tired
①マタイ 11：28～30
すべて重荷を負って苦労している者は、私のもとに来なさい。あなたがたを休ませてあげよう。

 

私は柔和で心のへりくだった者だから、私の軛​（くびき）を負い、私に学びなさい。そうすれば、あなたがたの魂に安らぎが得られる。私の軛は負いやすく、私の荷は軽いからである。

 

Matthew 11.28-30
“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

たゆまず善を行いましょう。倦むことなく励んでいれば、時が来て、〔実を〕刈り取ることになります。

それゆえ、機会のある度に、すべての人に対して、特に信仰によって家族になった人々に対して、善を行いましょう。

So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.

19．神さまの守りを必要とする時

山々に向かって私は眼を上げる、
わが助けはいずこより来たるか。

​主はあたなたの足のよろめくのを許さず、
あなたを守る者はまどろむことがない。
見よ、イスラエルを守る方は
まどろむことも眠ることもない。

主はあなたを守る方、
あなたの右の手を覆（おお）う蔭（かげ）。
昼、太陽があなたを打つことはなく
夜、月があなたを打つこともない。

主はすべての災いからあなたを守り、
あなたの命を守られる。
主はあなたの出ると入（い）るとを守られる、
今より永遠（とこしえ）まで。

Psalm 121 (My Help) 
I lift up my eyes to the hills— from where will my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

 

He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

 

The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

 

The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.
